The older ones were orange, 2002-2004,
And Maybe yours was heavy but this one is much lighter than an average, even lighter than your KONA! Smile

37lbs with titanium coil and stuff...
It is gonna be hard to let it go for sure, rides like a dream.

I've been a welder/fabricator in my whole life.
Unfortunately I did not have the TIG at the shop, so the most of the work was done
with MIG and some details by brazing.
And you are right there as well, early Rockhopper, that's why the tight chainstay. Frown

Other than that it is just like a Trans AM I am saying it!

It turned out to be a very interesting design, but I love it too.
I just wasn't sure how guys will like it...

Yeah, I tought that's why you think. It's because of the frame size, the small and medium has 15" seattube without
that reinforcement, mine is 16.5" long. ( Only longer with that reinforcement)

I just checked it, and the Blindside takes 8.75" / 2.75" shock and mine does a 7.75" / 2.25" one. Different rocker arm,
different seattube but it looks pretty close for sure...

Can you see the rocker arm? This bike is bottlerocket, it just looks a little a taller in the front than the rest,
or maybe the angle of the pic. make it look like a Blindside. (as far as I know on the frame only the rocker arm differs
between the two)
